SKT Team
Established in 2010, SKT is here to serve Sai Kung and Clearwater Bay's educational needs. We believe education is powerful and important, as well as creative and interactive. Especially in today's 'pressure cooker' environment, we are here to help students through and alleviate the pain that can so often become overwhelming. We love helping students truly understand their subjects, focussing on developing knowledge, not just studying for a test. Confidence is key when it comes to learning and students will find the atmosphere set by our team will enable, support, positively challenge and grow them in encouraging and meaningful ways.

Being a part of the local community is such a privilege and there are few places in the world like Sai Kung. We are very happy to travel to your home for lessons or you can come in for lessons at our learning centre above Honeymoon Dessert, or the Hive. We may not be the biggest baddest conglomerate in the world, but we genuinely care about the students we teach. Many of our students stay with us for years and keep in contact after they start and even graduate. When you engage with us, you'll find we are here to build long term relationships and we hope you enjoy working with us.

Meet Our Team
We truly believe 'teamwork makes the dream work' and the same is true of education. Every student is unique and learns in different ways and at different speeds. Some may say lessons are 'tailored' or 'made to order' to cater for this uniqueness; we simply call it teamwork. The word 'education' comes from the latin word "educere" which means to 'lead or draw out.' With so much of modern schooling relying on putting information into heads and route learning, true educators emphasize on working with students to develop and draw out understanding. My grandfather often quoted Mark Twain saying 'Never let schooling get in the way of a good education.'
